The Henry Smith Charity profiles grantee Circles South West
In 2021 Circles South West received a significant grant from The Henry Smith Charity which is being delivered over a three year period.
Circles South West benefited from their ‘Improving Lives’ grant programme, with particular focus on their ‘Positive Choices’ priority area. The ‘Positive Choices’ area looks at “Helping people, whose actions or behaviours have led to negative consequences for themselves and others, to make positive choices” which ties very strongly into our provision of Circles of Support & Accountability at Circles South West.
We have recently been added to The Henry Smith Charity’s profiled case studies, meaning that others can see us an example of the work that they support and how their selection criteria applies to real life scenarios. This is a fantastic endorsement of not only the work that we do but also of how we go about doing it. To be chosen as an example case study from all of the charities they support speaks volumes about the positive impact of our work.
We hope that this case study will help other projects with grant applications by providing a great example of the sort of work that The Henry Smith Charity supports. We are grateful for the recognition from The Henry Smith Charity of our work and of their continued support.
