An award winning independent charity that prevents sexual abuse by reducing the risk of sexual re-offending. Circles of Support and Accountability (‘Circles’) enable small groups of local volunteers to assist the safe integration of people who have sexually harmed, including young people. Working closely with responsible statutory agencies we provide a complementary risk management approach, making our communities safer. We also provide education and support programmes for the partners, families and friends of those who have sexually harmed, enabling them to become ‘protectors’. Informed by our practice expertise, our training and consultancy for professionals is designed to enhance skills, knowledge and understanding in order that they can more effectively engage with people who sexually harm and contribute more widely to the prevention of sexual abuse.
