Circles South West talks to BBC Radio Wiltshire

We were extremely pleased to be invited to speak on BBC Radio Wiltshire yesterday, 25th February 2020, to talk about what we do and encourage new local volunteers to join our important work in Wiltshire.

Sara Radford, our coordinator for Wiltshire and Gloucestershire, spoke eloquently to host Graham Seaman about Circles South West; what we do and what we want to achieve, and in particular, about Circles of Support and Accountability in Wiltshire. Sara was ably joined by a seasoned volunteer, Marci, who gave her own perspective as someone who has been involved for years and has just completed her third circle.

This interview comes in light of new circles opening up in Wiltshire; particularly south and central Wilts, with a new youth circle planned in Salisbury and new community circles available in central Wiltshire. Volunteers are required for both and we hope that local radio will reach out to local people who want to help us prevent sexual abuse in Wiltshire and Swindon
