Celebrating Volunteers’ Week 2021

Volunteers' Week runs from the 1-7 June 2021 and is an excellent time to say thank you to all of our amazing volunteers.

Today marks the beginning of the annual national Volunteers’ Week, celebrated across the country to highlight the wonderful and selfless work volunteers do and what they contribute to society.

Circles South West are extremely lucky to have more than 200 volunteers currently available to volunteer with us. As a charity we would not be able to accomplish the wonderful things we do without our volunteers, they are the life blood of our work and the reason why we have delivered so many successful Circles of Support and Accountability.

Volunteers give up their free time and their talents to change the lives of the people we work with and make our communities and neighbourhoods safer.

As a charity we try to repay their kindness throughout the year with development training, social chat groups and events but on this week in particular we want to give a huge public thank you to those who continue to stay with us and to those who decide we are the charity they want to spend their precious time with.

You can find out more about volunteering with Circles South West here and how to apply to join our wonderful volunteer group here.
