Amazon Smile now available in the app
For a long time you could only access Amazon Smile via your desktop, but now you can enable it via your app.
Amazon have announced that their charity giving programme, Amazon Smile, is finally available when you make purchases through their app.
Previously you could only take advantage of the scheme if you made purchases on your desktop, which led many people missing out on the donation to their chosen charity. Now Amazon have changed that we hope that many more donations will be made.
Here’s how to enable Amazon Smile on your phone app:
- Open the Amazon app on your phone
- Select the main menu (=) & tap on “AmazonSmile” within Programmes & Features
- Select Circles South West as your charity
- Follow the on-screen instructions to activate AmazonSmile in the mobile app
Amazon donates 0.5% of the net purchase price to Circles South West and to February 2021 we have raised almost £100 from this avenue.
