Paul Douglas
Appointed November 2025

Paul first chose to study Mathematics at university, before merging a growing interest in finance with a passion for the charitable sector that led him to become an accountant
In 2016 he got a place on the prestigious national NHS Graduate Scheme to do his accountancy training and get first-hand experience working in a variety of teams across the NHS. Since fully qualifying with the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) in 2019, he has continued to work as a financial and projects accountant for the NHS.
More recently he has started to use his skills to support a few charities, becoming a Trustee and Treasurer for the South West Community Chaplaincy and providing financial support to the Community Chaplaincy Association. When not focussed on these roles he is heavily involved in his local church, loves to travel, study history and theology, do CrossFit workouts and play football.
