Circles South West featured in the High Sheriff of Dorset’s booklet

Circles South West are delighted to be included in the High Sheriff of Dorset’s booklet: 'Inspiring Hope: an insight into the inspirational work of some of Dorset’s charities and towns'.
George Streatfeild, the High Sheriff of Dorset said:
At my High Sheriff Declaration on 27th March 2020, I summarised my ambition for the year as being to “seek out and promote those organisations and individuals that have been, and are, inspiring hope…”
We are so pleased to have joined the many other worthy charities in having our work publicised to the Dorset communities where we are active.
The High Sheriff said of the featured charities:
“I have met and I have been hugely impressed by what they do, how they work and the needs they fulfil in our community particularly over the past year and during the pandemic”.
He encouraged local people to get involved – we welcome Dorset people to get in touch to find out more about volunteering to help prevent sexual abuse in Dorset communities.
We were also so pleased to hear that our former Dorset coordinator, Tim Johnson, had received a High Sheriff award for his contribution as a Senior Probation Officer including “to the maintenance of public protection through a very challenging time”.
