Bidding farewell to our Somerset Coordinator

It is with sadness that we recently said goodbye to our Somerset coordinator, Kate Hothersall.

After 6 years Kate is off to pastures new. She will be sorely missed by both staff and volunteers alike.

After training in the early 80s Kate worked as a Probation Officer with Staffordshire, Dorset and Gloucestershire Probation Trusts, latterly as Senior Probation Officer of Gloucester City Team and a Probation Hostel.

Kate joined Circles South West in 2013 and became senior coordinator, responsible for Circles in Somerset along with driving our prison/through the gate Circles initiative across the region.

Her warmth and friendliness shines through in everything she does and we wish her every success and happiness in her next venture.
